I have made and received many calls and text messages over the last several weeks so I decided to use the site to keep family and friends updated in one place. I appreciate everyone's support and words of hope and encouragement that you have passed on to me. Thank you for visiting.
On Tuesday, May 18, 2021 I saw the pathology report and read the results that, despite trying to stay positive, I have worried about for weeks. I have Breast Cancer. It wasn't until the next morning when I spoke to my doctor and she confirmed the diagnosis. Although the results had terrorized me, she gave me several words of encouragement. We had caught the cancer early and it was a small area. Still, the word Cancer brought up thoughts of my family members and friends that have been fighting the same fight, whether it has been several months or several years. So now I start my own journey and I have decided to stay positive with the help of my family and friends. I will beat this thing!
