Friday evening, my father was enjoying a glass of wine and cheese on the back patio of Jo and Boyd Ausley's home. We are always told how life can change in seconds. Within seconds of deciding to go get a bite to eat, dads life changed. There could not have been a better place for my parents to be. Dad suffered a stroke. While leaving to go to the car, mom recognized something was wrong. They got back in the house to sit dad down. Boyd had already felt something wrong and was calling 911. Within 10min. First responders arrived. The Ausley's live 10 min from Presby Plano. Dad was in the hands of Presby within 30min. Well under the the three hour window to administer the clot buster (TPA). The last 5 days we have been really busy getting Dad to the point he is today. He has been Diagnosed with AFib. To this point he has regained everything but his speech. A huge thank you to the surrounding love of friends, church family, prayers and the love of God. Gods hands have been with dad from the beginning of this set back.

Thank you to everyone from our family for your outpouring love and concern for our dad on this new journey
