Dad was diagnosed with Liver Cancer in 2021. Since then he had treatments to the spots in his liver, we had hopes to one day get a liver transplant. Early 2022 we found out that there was either another spot going into the liver or a blood clot now making him ineligible for a liver transplant. The choices he was given were supportive care, trying chemo that would slow the progression and give him more time. He had 3 IV treatments of chemo that didn’t help. 2 weeks ago he started oral chemo twice a day. He has not tolerated this chemo well. Nausea, vomiting and diarrhea for the past 2 weeks. It started off with just the nausea then became worse.
