 On Easter Sunday Will had a terrible snowboarding  accident in Colorado. He had competed earlier that day and placed 6th nationally in slope style. The accident involved hitting a tree and the left side of his body took the impact. He was airlifted to a trauma one hospital in Denver with severe internal injuries...3 broken ribs, a collapsed lung, grade 5 laceration to his spleen, renal artery completely torn from his left kidney. And minor fractures to L1-L5 vertabrae. Although he was airlifted, received blood on the helicopter and had emergency surgery he will no longer have a functioning kidney or spleen.  Will is going to have a new normal and have to say goodbye to his passion.
