Will has had back issues off and on for a while. He injured it on vacation in September and then again after returning to the Berkshires. By Columbus Day weekend the pain was so intense he visited the Emergency Room for stronger medication. The next week we saw our primary care doctor, had an MRI (tricky because Will has a pacemaker) and visited a noted neurosurgeon in Connecticut. Will is scheduled for an operation at 9:15 AM Monday, November 6 at St. Francis hospital in Hartford, CT. It's same day surgery.
