Welcome to our CaringBridge website. Our family would like to invite you to keep up with this site to stay informed, as its to hard to touch base with each and everyone of you daily.

As most of you know Willis, Our Dad, husband, grandpa, great grandpa, uncle, dear friend, etc., has suffered with COPD for many years. This past year has been increasingly difficult for him to do the things he really likes to do. He has stated many times this past year he can't keep going on like this fighting to breath. Last Tuesday  Jan brought him to the emergency room for breathing difficulties. He spent the night receiving IV steroids and was sent home Wednesday to be with his family for the thanksgiving holiday. Though we had a great day with him, he had a tough day just trying to breath. He was brought back to emergency Friday morning in respitory distress. He has pneumonia with this disease so every time he has pneumonia the scar tissue does its damage and makes his breathing life more troubling. We had a care conference and our dad has chosen comfort care measures. He is communicating and we are sharing wonderful memories with him. We appreciate all thought and prayers as we help our dad/grandfathers passage!
