Welcome to our Caring Bridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
My story start uneventfully.  I returned from my usual visit to China on the 21st of November, 2017.  My next trip was back to Pipestone, Minnestoa, to meet with our Mexico clients in mid December, 2017.   When I travel, especially internationally, it always takes me four to five days to get my sleeping pattern switched around.  However, after the first of the year, I seemed to have more fatigue, and a bit of  a cough.  Our area in Texas had been hit hard with influenza, and the cedar, grass and tree pollen counts have been high, as usual for this time of year.  I did not think much of it.  After encouragement from Mary Jo, I went to the doctor to get it checked out.  Chest xray done the 1/17/18 was normal but  labs showed a low hemoglobin.  My nurse practitioner said "Willie, we have to find out where that blood is going".  So, home I went with  cards to test my stools.  Bingo, positive.  So  on to Upper and Lower GI testing on 1/30/17.  And the journey begins...
