A series of events beginning in July, 2021, led to several biopsies through the fall.  These confirmed a small papillary renal carcinoma (cancer) in my right kidney.  The recommended treatment for this is removal of the kidney.  One of the complications of kidney cancer can be the possibility of spread to the lungs.  Two small nodules outside the right lung were biopsied on 11/15/21.  Thankfully, they were negative!  This means the tumor is just in the kidney and removing it on 11/29/21 should be the only treatment needed. 

 

Dealing with these things is the journey I’m on.  I am trusting in God’s Sovereignty, and I’m being supported by the prayers of many friends and family.  Thank you for your care and for following my journey on Caringbidge.  I would appreciate your prayers for me and my family.
