I originally started this site to keep friends and family informed when Bill was hospitalized in January of 2016 with a "Parkinson's crisis." His official diagnosis is Lewy Body Dementia; he has had symptoms since 2013. I've tried to post updates somewhat regularly, and Bill's story has turned into our story. I love being a writer again, and I feel gratitude to be able to be home caring for Bill.
"Thank you for taking care of me," Bill says to me.
"Thank you for letting me take care of you," I say to him. This is our story.
Thank YOU for reading, and thank you for your kind responses and comments. I read them to Bill. They truly mean the world.
