On Wednesday, April 19th Will was admitted to Cooks Children's Hospital in Fort Worth with elevated kidney and liver numbers. He had been battling what they believe was a virus for over 2 weeks. On Saturday Will was moved to ICU and the drug Soliris was administered overnight. This drug along with a blood infusion allowed the platelets to raise high enough to safely place Will under anesthesia for the dialysis catheter and central line. Doctors are planning to do biopsies of the kidney and muscle later this week. Will remains in the ICU and is currently stable and resting.
