Will Cayo

Today while skating on the backyard pond with Ethan, Will suffered a heart attack and went into cardiac arrest.  I called 911 and by the time paramedics arrived, he had no pulse.  They used the defibrillator twice and got a pulse.  He did not regain consciousness, but had shallow breathing. He was rushed by ambulance to Fairview Southdale.   After several tests they found his right artery was blocked and did surgery to put in a stent.  His heart is working on its own, he is on a ventilator and in a medical induced coma.  We are all quite a mess here, Ethan especially, as he was there as it all happened and was  left at the pond with him while I ran to call 911.  I will never leave my cell phone at the house while on the pond again. That is all I know at this point- please pray for us.
