Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.

As a baby Wesley was born with a blockage in his urinary tract that damaged his kidneys.  One of his kidneys was not functional and was removed as a baby. When he was born he stayed at Johns Hopkins for a month recovering from his surgery. He was able to be sent home soon after with normal kidney function! Wesley has had healthy kidney function for over 23 years where he was was me to live a completely normal life! Although over the last two years his kidney have started to show signs of fatigue and have slowly began to fail. The last six months have been the worst where we have been seeing a rapid decline in the function of Wesley's remaining kidney. We have been watching him carefully waiting for the perfect time to pursue transplant. Now here we are days away from one of the scariest yet most amazing moments where Wesley will be restored back to good health. Thanks to God's perfect plan and provision during this process Wesley's mom, Cindy and sister, Casey were both screened and were found to be matches. After much prayer and consideration Wesley's mom will be donating now and we are thankful that we will be prepared in the future if we are faced with the possibility of surgery again.
