Chris Morin we need our village

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.  
I never thought I'd have to start a site like this, but I am overwhelmed by the love and support we have received as we gradually shared our news and have realized we need a place to inform everyone at once, rather than text chains and word of mouth. As many of you know Chris has been dealing with stomach issues for about 5 years. Four years ago he had a clear colonoscopy, was diagnosed with IBS but continued to feel lousy. Over the years his condition worsened, and he lost weight. Two weeks ago bloodwork showed abnormal liver enzymes and a subsequent CT scan showed lesions/tumors on his liver. On Thursday May 25th our worst fears were confirmed, Chris was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. As a family we will face this fight head on, with everything we have, and are optimistic that though the fight may be hard, he will beat it. We need our village to support us and pray for us: our stoopers, our baseball and swim families and all those who are family and are part of our chosen family.
