Welcome to Wendy's CaringBridge site. There is no easy way to tell you this news, but in March, our close friend Wendy Stulmaker went to her doctor and he informed her she has cancer. Wendy is a very strong person, but this shook her world. Wendy has stayed positive and fought through the treatment she has experienced. Since then, she has spent more time in the hospital than she ever imagined. She has also been receiving chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
In order to make communication between Wendy and and her friends and family easier we offered to set up this site.
We have also set up a special email address, wstulmaker@gmail.com should you have any questions.
Those who know Wendy best, know that she is a very private person she seldom answers her phone at the best of times. She stressed to us to please express that she hopes everyone knows it is NOT personal. Visitors have also not been encouraged by her treatment team, as there are times she will be more vulnerable to infection.
On this site, you will notice there are places where you can post comments. We are sure reading these will brighten her day.

As far as how Wendy is feeling or news of her progress, she has been and will continue to post journals to this site. You can read her journal and updates by going to the Journal Tab on the site.
Family and friends are the best medicine. What she would appreciate most at this time are your prayers and positive thoughts.
