Hi, my name is Wendy. I am a 48 year old mother of 5 and grandmother of 1. My children and my granddaughter are my world. I am truly blessed to have them in my life. On November 5, 2018 I went to the ER for something I thought was routine and was diagnosed with Stage III Rectal Cancer. I've had many tests and scans done since then for confirmation and thank God it has not spread to other areas. The cancerous cells were found in lymph nodes in my abdomen and groin so I am undergoing Chemotherapy and Radiation. I will have 30 daily radiation treatments and at least 2 rounds of chemo delivered in a pump over 96 hours at a time. I've completed one round of chemotherapy.
