Carson our 16y/o son was diagnosed with Tcell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia 11/22/2016. He was taken by ambulance from the Stone Oak ER to Childrens Methodist and the following day had a bone marrow biopsy, spinal tap, and a port placed. Chemo began immediately. He remained in the hospital for 2 weeks under the care of some amazing doctors. He will continue treatment for 3 years and hoping to return to JHS January 2018.
Carson understands what he is facing and believes he will win this fight with the same tenacity that he approaches everything in life.
Carson LOVES to have visitors but we need to make sure his health comes first and protect his compromised immune system. Please make sure the following is adhered to..
1. You have a flu shot effective for at least 7 days, yes this is necessary even in the off season.
2. You are healthy for at least 24 hrs, not even a little sick or have a family member sick (please if you question if you are sick don't visit, this includes sinus infections and colds) FaceTime and snap chat are great ways to visit if you have the sniffles.
3. Please remove your shoes and wash your hands once you come over to love on ca.
Hope everyone understands, thanks for your love and prayers,
