Wayne Glenn Peterson passed away on Monday December 14th.

My brother Wayne had been struggling with recovering from shoulder and gall bladder surgery and had been in and out of the hospital and transitional care this summer.  To get to the bottom of his slow recovery they did more tests and found cancer in his lymph nodes.  In September they determined the source of the cancer to be metastatic stomach cancer. His prognosis was less than one year even with chemotherapy.  In September Wayne decided to stop the chemotherapy and enter into hospice care.  He was at home for a part of hospice care but he was at the care center at Johanna Shores in Arden Hills at the time of his death.

Our brother Ron has also just recently received a cancer diagnosis. They have a caring bridge set up for him.  His site is ron713 or just search for Ron Peterson.

I wanted this site to not just update folks on Wayne but to celebrate the man and the legend. He has always been my big brother that I looked up to as my hero.  He still is all that.
