On September 18, Dad had a vehicle accident. He crashed into the back of a semi close to home. His injuries include a broken wrist, ribs, pelvic bone and hips, right leg and foot, and left kneecap.  The top of his wrist also has a deep wound where you can see the tendons. The following days have kinda been up and down. He had surgery on the 19th  to repair his foot and clean the wound on his hand. He came through that quite well. Then another surgery on the 20th to repair his broken leg by putting in plates and pins. During that surgery, his heart started acting up so they put him in ICU. He had a really bad night that night due to pain. He had a day of rest then he was supposed to have surgery today but they canceled it because of blood clots in his lungs. He has one large one and several smaller ones. The doctors are trying to dissolve them with medication.
