Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. This page has been created by Wanda's daughter and niece to provide basic information to all her friends and family.
As so many of you know, Wanda was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. In addition to the Parkinson's, Wanda is showing small signs of Dementia. She recently fell and broke her hip, but with daily therapy, she is doing great.
Wanda has moved to The Heritage in Tomball in the Assisted Living section. She has been a little reluctant to begin having visitors because she is adjusting to the disease and changes in life. As she has improved and worked with various therapists, we have seen signs of her enjoying visitors.
Wanda enjoys visitors, but we want to share some things we have noticed. lower voices tend to be more relaxing a limit on the number of questions tends to lead to less confusion one person or small groups tend to work best
Wanda still has the same cell phone number if you would like to call her.
Visitors can join for lunch, but you will need to stop by the front desk for a meal ticket.
We greatly appreciate your prayers and positive words of encouragement.
