The Thursday before Easter, Wally had a stroke.  He was in the hospital for a few days and is now in a rehab center.  He is receiving speech therapy and physical therapy as well as occupational therapy five days/week.  Wally is unable to sit up or stand on his own.  He has trouble swallowing so he is eating pureed food and drinking thickened liquids.  The good thing is he can communicate and knows who everyone is.  We are hoping that he can improve enough to go back to the assisted living facility that he was at before.
