As many of you might know, Wally was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) just a couple of days before Thanksgiving. He ended up at St. Mary’s hospital in Madison for treatment and was then transported to St. Agnes in Fond du lac on Dec. 5 for intensive rehab. He was not getting better, and, in fact, was getting weaker. So on Saturday, Dec. 7 the neurologist decided to send Wally back to St. Mary’s in Madison for a new and more aggressive treatment (plasmapheresis) to combat the symptoms of GBS. This treatment will last at least 10 days. Thankfully he has a nice big TV to watch the Badgers this eve and the Packers tomorrow. In the meantime, he would love to hear from you.
