Tuesday, October 10th, Wade was crushed and pinned underneath an 800+ pound recycling materials bale . He was pinned underneath for a few minutes before anyone heard him calling for help. His co workers worked together to lift the bale off wade and pull him out from underneath. He was taken by ambulance and then airlifted right away to North Memorial because he was bleeding internally and had very low blood pressure. Once he arrived to North Memorial they gave him blood transfusions and some pain meds. He has a severly fractured pelvis, among other things, and will have a long road to recovery.
