Vivian Lake Cotton was born on November 2nd, 2013. She arrived 13 weeks early at 27 weeks old and was 3lbs 2oz. From what they can tell, I suffered from cervical insufficiency which causes the cervix to dilate too soon. By the time we arrived at the the hospital, my bag of water had prolapsed. Because she was sideways they needed to perform an emergency c section.
As some of you already know, this all happened on the morning we were moving to Michigan. We were getting ready to leave at 8am but instead at 7:36am I was delivering Miss Vivian.... apparently she wanted to be a city baby like her sister Caroline!
