Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place for both Vivian and Carter. 


It's been a difficult step to take, as Caringbridge means something is wrong. We wanted it "right." 


Both Vivian and Carter have a complicated neuromuscular disease, related to Mitocondrial disease. This has caused lots of things ... low muscle tone, cardiac failure, so on. 


I've updated Facebook but so many close family and friends don't use it. 


This will be a place I will write updates on what's going on. It may be a place my feelings get poured out at times. Meaning, a place of vulnerability for me. But, it's a place you can choose to view. A place for me to write and track everything. 


Thank you for your love for our family. The ones who read this, I know it's because you care. The prayers have carried us further than we ever would imagine
