As many of you know, Virginia suffered a stroke Wednesday morning while we were packing for a trip to Phoenix. She is in ICU at St. Luke’s downtown Boise.

Virginia had another CT scan this morning and while it showed no more bleeding in her brain, she has had a bad stroke and there is much swelling. Her speech as well as her right side have been affected and other than nodding her head she cannot communicate much although she responds to some commands. Our entire family is all here and at this time we are ok and don’t need anything. We have put her in God’s hands and ask for continued prayer. Modern medical technology is great but God is greater! We still believe in miracles and a minimally invasive procedure will be done this afternoon to help lessen the pressure on her brain.

Thanks to all of you who are praying and expressing love and concern--we love you back! Time will tell the long term effects.
