Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
On Tuesday April 11, 2017 mom suffered 2 seizures. She was admitted into the hospital where they ran several tests and it was determined that she had a  mass in her right temporal lobe. The doctors recommended surgery to remove the tumor. On Wednesday April 12, 2017 the mass was completely removed. Ginny is sporting a unique"punk" hair cut with an interesting display of "staple" jewelry along with her purple fingernail polish! She is home and getting stronger every day! Thankfully she does not have any damage that has affected her speech or ability to communicate. It also has not affected her feisty attitude! She is up and moving around the house defying all of our expectations! We have not seen any changes in her personality or mood. If you come to visit you my notice that she is a little weepy, but know it is a result of the brain injury. We covet your prayers as we begin a journey that none of us saw coming.
