On August 30th, a week after a biopsy I scheduled due to finding a lump on my breast, I received the shocking diagnosis of Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, IDC. I then met with the surgeon and oncologist to learn more details - I have Triple Negative Breast Cancer, which means its fast growing and spreads quickly. After several tests, MRIs, CT Scans, Ultrasounds, and Bone Scans (which all came back negative, thankfully) I had been cleared for treatment.
For the next twelves weeks I will receive Chemo & Immunotherapy Treatment at Robert & Audrey Lucklow Pavilion, in Paramus NJ. Hearing the news of a cancer diagnosis, isn't an easy one to process, but I am taking it one day at a time with the love and support of my family and friends. I created this site for those who want to stay updated on my journey, but know you can always reach out as well.

With Love, Virginia (Gail) XO
