Virgil was diagnosed with an aggressive bladder cancer in November of 2018. After successful surgeries to remove the tumor (December), and then his bladder (February), on March 1st our family learned that the cancer had rapidly metastasized to other areas of his body and his diagnosis was now terminal. Virgil passed away on Thursday, March 14th.
