Vi Do

Latest post: 6/5/2017
Hello. This is a caringbridge page for Vi Do. Vi sustained a traumatic (Anoxic) brain injury after a near drowning accident in 2009. Since then, she has been trying to reclaim her life. The accident left Vi with cognitive and motor deficits. However because of her teachers and the resources made available through her school, district, and the state of Minnesota, she has been making progress in the last 8-9 years. My hope is that when you visit Vi's page, in addition to the current pictures, that you revisit the events and posts leading up to her narrative today. Doing so will give you a better understanding of Vi's journey, particularly the moments that weren't so rosy.

As for what Vi will do from here on out, only God really knows. She's had to overcome many hurdles already, and will continue to do so. However, she is bright, smart, and an overall joy of a person, therefore I think she can do it. Next step in a sense, is a college for special education students. She will be attending a program called transition plus that will add to her learning, as well as introduce life skills to her repertoire.
