Victoria Gumns Victoria's Journey

First post: Feb 28, 2016 Latest post: Mar 6, 2016
It all began on Monday Feb 22, 2016. Crystal was enjoying the day with her sisters, Tiffany and Alex, shopping for Alex's wedding. We were out to lunch at Olive Garden when Crystal began having severe back pain. She called the doctor, they told her she needed to go to the emergency room immediately. Crystal was not full term, she was only 35 weeks pregnant. After she was admitted to the O.B. floor at St. Anthony Hospital, the doctor quickly decided Crystal was in labor and the baby needed to come out that day!! Crystal was having contractions every 2 minutes, that were intense, but due to her back pain, she only felt the tightness not the contraction pain. Crystal had arrived at the hospital at 4-4:30 pm, she told Levi around 5 that the doctor decided she needed to have her C-section immediately, because the contractions were so strong they were tearing her scar from the inside out from her previously when Izabella was born. Levi was at work in South Bend!!! He hurried to the hospital, and arrived just as Crystal was being prepped for surgery! He made it just in time!  Victoria Ailyn Gumns was born at 6:06 pm :)
