This past Friday, May 1st, the bigger-than-life man known as VRE departed our world and headed on to the next. Without question, he will be missed beyond words, but the love and compassion he showed for life and everyone in it, will live on forever. He is survived by his wife Judy (of nearly 60 years – this June 18th), his son Scott and his wife Samantha and their children Braxton and Makayla, his daughter-in-law Weigie, and his 'adopted' daughter Paula. They all ask that if you have a memory of him, a story, or a sentiment you'd like to share, please do so below, so that your words of love can offer comfort and healing as all of those who knew him mourn his departure.
