Hello Friends and Loved ones.  Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.  Our dear Mother was diagnosed with Mesothelioma at the End of April.   According to the Doctor it is a stage 3 cancer affecting the lining of her lungs.   She met with the oncologist surgeon and support nurses yesterday and learned that the cancer is inoperable.  However, they did offer some less invasive procedures to keep her breathing well and comfortable.  As of now she is in the TCU at Catholic Eldercare.  Her Goal and ours is to get her home in her apartment at Main Street Lodge.  Mom remains in pretty good spirits and we had a tremendous Mother's Day with her.   You all know she loves to visit.  She is working hard in rehab.  Please pray for her.
