On Monday July 31st Vernon had four small strokes at home. Thankfully Jeremy was there. Jeremy brought him to Bemidji ER. Dad had one CT scan so that's how we knew about the strokes. He was going to have another CT scan but found out he had damage to his kidneys. They cancelled the CT scan and ordered an MRI after consulting with the Surgeon that put the spinal stimulator in his back. We had learned that his carotid artery in his neck is nearly blocked and he has a blockage on his brain. They sent him by life flight to Fargo for immediate surgery.
