On January 12th, our beloved mother, sister, nene, morkour, and friend suffered an ischemic stroke.   She currently is in excellent care in the Neuro ICU at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan.  She is recovering, but currently has limited movement on her right side and is not speaking (yet).  We  hope she continues to progress to move out of the ICU soon.  Right now, keeping our treasured Vergine in your thoughts and prayers is very much appreciated.  When she is able to receive visitors, we will let you know.  For now, it is best for her recovery to rest without too much interruption or stimulation.  She is a fighter and already trying to leap out of bed.  We will continue to post with updates.
