Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We will use this site to keep family and friends updated in one place about Van's journey. On Friday, December 3, 2021 Van received the devastating news that he had a large tumor on his pancreas, tumors in his liver and nodules in his lungs. Van will be starting treatments at MD Anderson mid-December and begin his journey to become cancer free. The days ahead seem uncertain and bring thoughts of anxiety, but we know that our God is with us wherever we go. If you are uncertain how to help or what to do for Van, PRAY. Pray hard for Van, Darrah and Katherine and grow closer to God through your prayers for their family. My hope is that worries can be turned into prayer and fears will turn into faith. Our family is in awe of the outpouring of love and support that has already been shown. We ask for your continued prayers and welcome words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
