On Friday, February 28th, Val was taken to the ER with symptoms of numbness in her left side, a piercing headache, hard time remembering and unable to hold a conversation. The ER performed a CT scan which showed a 3" mass in the right side of her brain. She was immediately taken to Rush hospital where they were able to schedule a surgery to remove the mass Monday, March 2nd. Surgery went very well with no complications. As the days go by, we will know more where mom will be staying during her recovery but in the meantime we are asking for meals or anything else you can provide to help during this time.
