I have Cancer.
Breast Cancer, to be specific.
IDC and DCIS Carcinoma to be even more precise.
ER Positive, PR Positive and HER2 Negative to specify further.
On Monday, I have a four hour meeting with five different practitioners to review my best surgery option: lumpectomy, mastectomy, or mastectomy with reconstruction.
The matter surgically removed will then undergo biopsy and an even finer designation of the nature and extent of my cancer will emerge. From there, staging will be assessed, treatment options will be presented and decided upon.
