We had our final measurement sonogram before Sutton's birthday yesterday. We will continue to be seen twice a week by my OB and MFM at the hospital, but weight/measurements are only taken every three weeks - and Sutton will be here in just a couple weeks! At yesterday's appointment her weight has her in the 7th percentile, and her AC (abdominal circumference - aka her size) is in the 1st percentile. Three weeks ago her weight was in the 13th percentile and her size was in the 5th. But, Sutton passed the 1900 grams mark that she needed to clear to avoid an automatic NICU admission! We're thinking she is going to pass 5 lbs, something we didn't think would happen a few weeks ago. The MFM doctor wasn't any more concerned about her size this week than she was three weeks ago, and the induction plan set with my OB and doula remains the same. We will be induced the week of August 29th!
