Jewel Lynch Updates on Jewel Lynch

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated on Jewel's progress in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. 


As most of you know on Wednesday, April 21st our mother, grandmother and friend, Jewel Lynch fell in her home. She had a large cut on the back of her head. She also experienced a break in her neck and a brain bleed. She was taken to the ER and quickly sent to ICU for multiple days. She has had CT Scans, MRI's and other tests to see how she is doing. On Monday, April 26th she was moved to another floor of the hospital after the doctors saw that the brain bleed had stopped. Today, April 28th she is being released to a rehab facility to deal with the issues from the broken neck.  She has experienced a lot of pain and she will need a good bit of care and encouragement to get back on her feet.  We will keep this updated with information from her daughter Kristy Lyon and granddaughter Ashley Lyon.
