I thought I should add a little info on my mom's fabulous time with her grandsons, Michael and Devin, before her tumble.
We arrived in the evening of Maundy/Holy Thursday and spent the day on Friday, packing up lots of things for Michael's eventual move closer to his workplace. On Saturday we drove into New York City and met friends for lunch across the street from Lincoln Center before she and they went to see The King and I at Lincoln Center. (Bert and I went to see An American in Paris.) Afterward we rode through Central Park in the horse-drawn carriages. This was followed by drinks at The Plaza Hotel!
After church on Easter Sunday, Michael took us on a drive through the countryside where we crossed the Delaware River at Washington's Crossing (yeah, right). We returned home for naps. As we were preparing to go with MIchael into Princeton where he sings with the Princeton Univ student choir is when my mom's fall occurred.
She cherishes all the memories of her days before that with her grandsons! ; )
