Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place about Uncle Mario's health. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.  As of late he has been doing well now that he is at home and more comfortable.  He is on oxygen and taking medication regularly to aid his conditional.  He is currently suffering from ailing lungs and heart disease. We have hospice assistance to help him when things get more difficult.  To give you some insight to his condition he started getting worse about a couple weeks ago when he was having difficulty breathing.  After multiple visits to the emergency room the Drs admitted him to a local hospital for a week of treatment and observation.  Proceeding his admission we made multiple attempts to have him transferred to the Veterans Hospital his preferred choice of hospitals however they were overwhelming full.  After this time he decided to have hospice care at home on his own terms.  Local family is staying with him full time to care for his daily needs.  He wants to thank  everyone for their concern and love.
