Saturday, March 25, 2017, Ty was on a training ride for the upcoming AIDS/Lifecycle ride. His riding companions think he hit a pothole in the road.  He went over the handlebars and hit the ground head first. He lost consciousness on impact. He was in a Coma for about two weeks. After waking up he slowly came back to us recognizing family and friends. With a lot of hard work he is now being transferred to an Acute Rehabilitation Hospital in Oakland (350 Hawthorne Ave, Oakland).  He will be evaluated for the first three days, then his plan of action will be developed for his treatment.  He will have therapy in the morning and afternoon.  Visiting hours are 4-8 pm Monday-Saturday and all day Sunday.  Please continue to send cards to our home in Antioch (2463 Carpinteria Dr 94531).
If you would like to make a donation to help with Ty's medical costs, an account has been setup at Wells Fargo  FBO account # 1011636592.
