Saturday, March 25, 2017, Ty was on a training ride for the 2017 AIDS/Lifecycle ride. He hit a pothole in the road, went over the handlebars and hit the road head first. He lost consciousness on impact and was in a Coma for about two weeks. After waking up he slowly came back to us recognizing family and friends. He has been to Kentfield Rehab Hospital, Alta Bates Acute Rehab and Centre for Neuro Skills. He is now at his home during the week and in Antioch on the weekends.
