Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

The story starts on Satruday, May 27, 2017.  Tyler had been having some light sensitivity issues and not wearing his glasses so he made a routine appointment with the optomitrist.  This simple visit  turned into finding out that Ty's optic nerve was swollen.  The optomitrist then recommended that Tyler go directly to the Emergency Room in Fargo.  After Mom pushed for an MRI, instead of just having a steriod and going home to wait it out, the result came back.  Tyler has a 8-9 cm tumor on his frontal lobe.  This then has been putting pressure on his brain casuing the optic nerve swelling, light sensitivity and noise in his ears over the last few months.  This then turned into an immediate referal down to Mayo in Rochester to get to a superior Neuro team.

The tumor is extremely large and very complex.  So the current plan, unless we hear otherwise is to have brain surgery on Tuesday.

We will put all updates on this site and would appreciate prayers for Tyler and the Surgeical team preparing and carrying out this surgical plan.
