Tyler Chase

On the evening of September 15th, 2016,  Tyler Chase was riding his bike with a couple friends when he collided with a moving vehicle.  Tyler was treated on scene by EMS personnel from surrounding companies and was transported to A.I. DuPont Children's Hospital via Jeffstat.  Thank you to all involved in his treatment and transportation. We're so very thankful. 


Tyler is in the Intensive Care Unit surrounded by all of his closest loved ones.  He has multiple skull fractures and has bleeding and swelling on his brain.  His lungs are also pretty swollen as well.  Along with some other injuries but these are the major concerns as of now.



Since arriving at the hospital Tyler has been heavily sedated to help keep him comfortable and to allow his body to begin the healing process.  He is also on a ventilator because he is so heavily sedated he is not able to breathe on his own at this time.  



Please continue to pray for Tyler and his family! They can use all of the prayers and words of encouragement during these trying times.  Also please pray for the driver of the vehicle as this was a freak accident and I'm sure very traumatizing for them as well.


Our goal is to update once a day, as we need to focus on getting Tyler better.  We will update as much as possible.  Thank you for the continued prayers and concerns!
