Twila Brown

Welcome to Twila's CaringBridge website. Twila and Donna  are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.

Twila is now home  after 4 days at Mercy in Durango.  She has been experiencing pain, loss of appetite and distention, and was admitted for testing on Tuesday.  Her cancer has returned, metastasized to her other parts of her body.  More testing is being done to determine what course of treatment will be her best option.  For the time being, she will start on a chemotherapy regimen to reduce swelling and make her more comfortable. We are hopeful she will be able to have a  quality  life for some time. We'll keep you posted as we learn more.

Please use this site as a way to keep up with Twila while respecting her need for rest.   Take a look at the Ways to Help tab to see if Donna and Twila have posted any needs they may have.  Also Visits to Twila need to be limited until she gets stronger. Please check with Donna to schedule a visit. All visits are limited to twenty minutes. Sometimes we can do it and sometimes we can't.  Please respect this.
