Ryan and I welcomed our little peanut into the world on February 3rd, 2021 at 29 weeks and 6 days gestation. Tucker arrived about 10 weeks early due to me having preeclampsia with severe features - my body just could not be his home any longer.
Tucker has been in the NICU at U of M Masonic Childrens hospital since birth. We are unsure of how long our NICU stay will be at this point.
We have been overwhelmed by the love and support we have received so far, however keeping up with updates for all those who care about our little family is difficult with our new found “normal” of daily trips to the hospital, work, and taking care of our fur babies at home.
I am hoping this can be a streamlined way to be sure we can update all those who care so much!
Ryan and I have had many people reach out asking how they can help us as we navigate through this journey while our son is in NICU. We appreciate everyone's support and enthusiasm to lend a helping hand. As we focus our time and energy on our son, we will need more things for him once we are able to bring him home. I have posted the link to our Amazon baby registry below, so if you would like to help us out with supplies for him, we would appreciate that immensely. Also, with making daily trips to visit our little man, the cost of gas is getting expensive. If you would like to send us gas cards/gift cards that would be extremely helpful and appreciated as well. You may mail them to our house if you wish, just message me privately to get our address. Again, all the love and support and everyone's willingness to lend a helping hand is very overwhelming and so very appreciated.
