On March 4, 2017 Tucker was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL Pre-B) and is currently undergoing testing and treatment at UNC Hospital. This is a treatable form of leukemia however treatment will take approximately 2 1/2 years with the first month being the heaviest in order to get it in remission.
