Trudy Nell

Trudy was diagnosed with lung cancer in the Fall 2021.  The cancer was localized to the upper lobe, in one lung only and had not spread to any other parts of her body or lymph nodes.  In late 2021, Trudy started treatment and had one round of chemo and radiation, finishing up in early April.  Follow-up tests proved that the chemo/radiation had shrunk the cell down about 50% or more of it's original size.  Her doctors then suggested surgery to remove the remainder of the cancer instead of doing more rounds of chemo.   Trudy went in for Surgery on May 18th at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
