Two years ago, in January, the health challenge began.  Surgery removed 24"of intestines and a mass revealed colon cancer.  Recovery was very difficult, a bag and a wound vac prevented oncologist to administer chemotherapy.  I have seen the oncologist every 3 months, scans every 6 months and a DNA blood test to trigger any cancer activity.  So....I was not worried about any reoccurrence.
In October, 2022 I started having urinary tract infections.  The urologist wanted to do a scope, and urinary CT, after 6 infections, each showing a different bacteria. On January 27th, I had outpatient surgery to gather a biopsy which revealed mucinus colon carcinoma. A PET scan revealed no other organs or lymph nodes are affected. The tumor is the size of a golf ball attached to the bladder wall.  This type is hard to detect which is the reason previous tests and scans hadn't detected activity.
A port was installed on Monday, February 7th..  I am scheduled Wednesday, 16th to have my first infusion which will last 2 hours, then a pump will administer another type of chemo over the next 2 days at home.  Pump will be attached to the port and worn around the waist.I will receive chemo every 2 weeks for 6 months.  Surgery will be needed, we meet with the surgeon on April 6 to schedule.  Scans will be taken after 2 months.
FEAR NOT, FOR I I HAVECALLED YOU BY NAME, YOU ARE MINE.  WHEN YOU PASS THROUGH THE WATERS, I WILL BE WITH YOU.GOD TELLS ME NOT TO BE AFRAID....GOD SAYS HE KNOWS ME....GOD SAYS I AM HIS...GOD SAYS HE WILL BE WITH ME.
CANCER IS NOT BIGGER THAN GOD!
EVERY KIND MESSAGE SENT, EVERY PRAYER SAID, IT IS LIFTING UP OUR FAMILY UP WHEN WE NEED IT MOST.  WE HAVE BEEN MOVED BY YOU PRAYING BOLDLY, BY FEARLESSLY FOLLOWING YOUR FAITH, BY ASKING AND EXPECTING TO RECEIVE.
THANKING GOD FOR OUR LOVED ONES WHO SURROUND US.
LOVE, TRUDY AND LYN
