Troy was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma fall 2013, he underwent aggressive chemotherapy in an attempt to save his leg from amputation.  Then, in April 2014 he let go of his leg to save his life.  A few months after the surgery, the cancer had metastasized to Troy's lungs.  He fought back again with chemotherapy and the last tumor removed surgically February 2015.  In May 2016, during a routine exam and scans we learned the cancer had once again metastasized to Troy's lungs so we opted to have the new tumors removed surgically follow up with chemotherapy after.  In August 2016, when Troy went in for his second chemo treatment there was alarming news from his blood work.  After several tests, the diagnosis was Leukemia (AML).
Troy has been a true warrior over the last several years, fighting every step of the way for his family!
